Sniper End Weapon?

Currently I have 71 base str (101 w/ equips) and i currently have an 118 atk neshere. Should this be my end game weapon? Or a dragon Shiner or Reverse/Timless reverse black beauty? If so what equips would I need to enable it?

Most people aim for the Reverse Black Beauty. Honestly though, if you are making an endgame weapon and dont plan to cover it with NX, I say you pick the one you like the most (for looks). Other than that, I would choose the Black Beauty because it has the potential of being the strongest (and giving +1 stat in something, not sure what skill it upgrades, but its possible)

Dont endgame with a 118 atk xbow... cmon man it shud be higher then 125 if its an xbow.

there is no such thing as an end game weapon. there will always be stronger and stronger weapons. the end game weapon of choice would be the one with the best possible stats easily obtained. so your pick

My base STR is currently 75. I used a 117 neshere up until 137 and now using a 121 dragon shiner until I build myself a great Reverse Black beauty. Aiming for 130+ attack; which would be really tough, but do-able.

Black Beauty definitely. It has on average 8 attack higher base than a shiner cross which compensates more than enough for the 10 STR difference in requirements. Since mostly likely you'll be stuck at ToT anyways, I think it's pretty appropriate to scroll one of those for 125+ attack.

Slightly of topic everyone, but i quit 4 months ago from my MM in Scania. my old endgame weapon was 132/6 from memory. Im really curious to know how much its worth approx nowadays. Have prices for xbows deflated or inflated? I know that high attack xbows are obscure items and there arent stable prices always avaliable but im still curious to hear your views. OT: Ultimately get a nice Black Beauty, but if you wanted something slightly less long term, just get a casa/nesch/shiner with 120-125 attack for the best price you can. Depending on your equip situation, the +10 speed from dark nesch/shiner etc may be a deciding factor for you.

Whatever you can scroll to 130+, you could call an endgame weapon. I define an endgame weapon as something you can level to 200 with, and not have people think you use a weapon unworthy of the level. I'm not a fan of binding equipment so my endgame weapon turned out to be a 5 above average dragon shiner cross, perfectly scrolled. If I had gone for a reverse I might've been able to get one with 10-or-so more attack scrolling the same way, but it would be stuck on the character forever, and that just didn't feel like a very good investment to me. I think it's a bit more cost-effective to maker nescheres and throw 30s at them until you get close to 130 and finish with 60s, than to make a reverse crossbow and risk exploding it with a 30, or risk making it crappy by just using 60s. However, when vegas return, I'd recommend using a bunch of 30% vegas on a clean reverse, then finishing+hammering with 90% vegas once you feel they'll be enough to get your weapon to where you want it.
