Do evans have the potential to boss?

They can boss. Doesn't mean they're wanted over other classes.

With connections, there's a possibility, but honestly their DPM sucks more than regular mages.

On-Topic: Of course they can every class can but if your a Cyngus then you have way below average bossing potential. Learn your strengths if party bossing. If solo spam your strongest 1v1 attack and watch your meters.

i think they do because of attacks like killing wings that single out the boss over the summon and dragon thrust which knocks the bosses back as for HT and PB i think they will be needed for their resing skills to be able to res 2 people at once (and this can be achived through switching parties around) will make them a valuble asset

all classes can boss. where the difference lies is what role they get into (attacker, mobber or support)

Also, I'm fairly certain soul stone or whatever has to be cast while people are alive.

i say yes because their soul stone will be quite handy and blessing of the onyx can be quite helpful as well :D

They have useful support skills.

Its all about the player control. Anyone can boss as long as they can survive/deal damage/support attackers. The evans have supportive skills and Decent DPM

My Characters: Lifeguarda - 21 Galicia Evan 2nd Growth

They're not the best DPM ever, but they're heckuva lot better than other mages. With Illusion, 90% mastery, a 55% crit rate, mini Zerk, high durability, and desireable support skills, Evans should be accepted into boss parties at a fairly high rate.
