Strless vs Low Str vs Normal Str?

Im confused of how it works, I know str is suppose to be +5 ur lvl but ppl cap at like 60 and idk why. I got a Wind Archer already with 21 str/ lvl 16 and for the best power at lvl 70+ wats the best way to go?

Because you get equips that require no strength, but add onto your base strength and let you equip higher level weapons without raising your base strength. Zhelm gives about 15 strength, MoN gives about 5, ect. This isn't even factoring in overalls or shoes.

we basically take about 30-40 away from the strength that you need to equips your end game bow (usually nisrock so that means around 65-75 base str). 30 is easy to get just maker the level 100 red overall with a intermediate STR crystal and that is 9. then your zhelm should be another 15. then a dep star or STR cape for the rest. that is an easy 30 str. (you will also have extra from little things or above avg things) usually i say to aim around 60 base STR. on my new archer i am aiming for 45 base

Well I read this guide, and it says I shouden't put to str till around 70, I might aim for a lvl 90 bow cuz it's sort of cheap and not bad in attk. Olso Ill get a zak helm if i could find 1 cheap. Could u put Zakum helm in storage? Main reason i dident buy 1 yet cuz im worried that if i cant i might have to stick with just my archer.

what guide did you read? thats similar to what strless bowman do in some cases lol if you get a zhelm, its stuck on whatever char you got it on unless you use an SoK (which of course costs nx)

Dam idk now... I dont wanna go strless but I started a new guy cuz I thought I should put points to str later. Currently lvl 15, with 5 str. Im not sure with Ap distrubution for bowman bro, i need help :o

Why do some archers go to so much trouble to have a low base str, when they could buy dex equips instead of str and have the same effects? For example: If you have 50 base str + 20 from zhelm and pendant, that's 70 str. Then you buy 30 str in equips, so you can put your ap in to dex. If you had 80 base str + 20 from zhelm and pendant, that's 100 str. Then you can buy 30 dex in equips. You'd end up with the same Str and Dex In both scenarios you end up with 100 str and 30 extra dex.

BUT smart people abuse the free str bonuses from Zhelm, overall, pendant etcetc and thus are low str. Some items are easier and cheaper to get with str scrolls, and some are easier to get with dex but in the end, it doesn't change anything.

[/quote] true, very true, but it's better to have surplus DEX than surplus STR. also, i agree with Tatufiuz about prices of some equipment and it's stats

[/quote] the only real reason they do it is because of MW which most bowmen don't get till their 15Xs. The only str equip that's really cheaper then the dex is cape, and I prefer using my pure att pac. I capped at 71 and have exactly enough str to weild a BB without having anything scrolled for str.
