4/24: The end of Maple as we know it

On 4/24 there will be a 2x event. Now, having a 2x event isn't unusual, but this will be the first 2x event where the use of party invite D/C hacks will be widespread. Before, there was only the whisper d/c where you could only d/c one person at a time and it took 30 seconds. It also occasionally dced yourself. There have been legits bawwwwing on Basil about getting d/ced in seconds. As more people learn how to use the awesome dc packet, the more the economy of Maple will be screwed up. Already, there are people d/cing anyone who enters the FM in Bera. Give it a couple more days and there will be d/c hackers in every FM in every server, bringing the economy to a standstill. Let's see how Nexon likes that, with no one using the shops. They'll have to deal with the mess hackers cause for them. Hopefully they go bankrupt. If Nexon does not patch this hack on Wednesday, MapleStory is doomed. Most hackers will lie dormant until the 2x event, as only cool people d/c people in the FM and everyone hides because they're nerds. When the 2x event comes, every Gallopera channel will be full of D/cers trying to get a spot to train. At least that solves the problem of ksing, since we won't have weak level 80 arans trying to ks level 16x bishops like me. As the public doesn't have access to a packet blocker because they think everything has a virus, that means people will d/cing each other back and forth over gallopera channels...at least the hackers that is. Legits will stay on Basil and Sleepy and complain about how a big bad d/c hacker is ruining their life "./cuts" So, tell me what you think BasilMarket: Will this happen or not? It's all up to Nexon now. Chances are they'll do nothing because their programmers only know how to do hello worlds. One upside for you legits: At least you might get a extra 2x event in exchange for having your maple "life" screwed up. Try going outside once in a while, instead of no-lifing for 8 hours for pixels. This is what high levels deserve, no lifing for hours to kill some pixel dragon. Get a life and go outdoors while you can. You'll thank me. also, I hope Jagex buys MapleStory. RuneScape > MapleStory. At least Jagex has actual customer service and not just trained monkeys.

Whoa i didn't know legits troll on hacking forums. And this is already going to happen, Guys are DC hacking now to the point its even effecting hackers. Soon Legits will go to hacking forums to go DC the hackers and become hackers themselves.

A Packet can always be updated. It was leaked into public. Once nexon patches it. It's alright. You guys make it sound like its the end of the world because of this hack. Also, even if the hackers update it. Only the VIP, or should I say people who buy their hacks will get it.

To the ones thinking mini dungeons will save you, they wont. Massive party invites can be done even in a mini dungeon. If someone is after you, they will get you.
