How many chars can I login till I get IP BANNED?

1. How many chars can I login till I get IP BANNED? My whole family plays maple (and they each have at least 1-3 accounts they log on). We tried testing and it seems to ban on the 9th or 10th login from the same ip (but its not always consistent?) as one day it banned us on the 8th or so. However, I could have just miscalculated or did not get all the details of how Maples IP login count bans. Which leads me to the next question 2. When does maples ip ban count reset? As in is it every day at 12am midnight like most things in the server? (example: you can login 9 accounts from the same IP per day and and then it resets at 12 so you can login another 9?) Anyone know how it works? Or have asked a GM? Any info is appreciated.

Hm, I didn't know this. I log in maybe four to five times a day, every hour, (my computer has a problem), and I've never gotten Ip banned yet

Doesnt matter how many times you logged in with the same account, its each different account u login with the same ip that maters. Example: Once you have logined in ur main, u can keep logging it in however many times you want, then u can keep logging in mules up to the 8th one. But the next mule u login, your whole ip gets banned and ur account for that 9th account gets banned too. Then you have to submit a form.

when ever I get on i log into one account after another to switch items in and out of my accounts(I use three in total). I think the only time u should fear being banned is if u have 5+ accounts and frequently logging in to one another. but if your accounts have only existed on that 1 ip address, I don't think it would raise a flag to nexon. just don't have too many. also, when it comes to having to change the password(idk yet if u really are forced to change it every 3 months), do them 1 at a time, with a couple days in between for xtra assurance.

I wish my parents played maple. My dad could easily fill in the time he watches TV to play maple. Make a character to level 30 in a week I bet. xD

[/quote] Unfortunately it does raise the flag because it is detected by a machine (i'm assuming). THe auto ban system was made in attempt to stop meso farmers, however meso farmers usually just spoof their mac and easily change their ip as well as using proxys and other methods to bypass this system. What is has done instead, is limit people with big families or that share a line with many. (Internet cafes / apartment shared internet connections) all suffer from this now because they login from the same ip. I have tested accounts multiple times up to the 9th account where I can freely log on and off those 9 accounts. But once you login one more, you are banned.
