Could something be wrong with my ipod?

I've bought more than 3 pairs of headphones and opened them the same day i got them the first time i use them the left earphone always doesnt work. It happened everytime i got a new pair of them. Could something be wrong with the ipod and not the headphones?

Check the headphones with some other device. If it works, then its your Ipod.

Maybe you pushed to hard and broke the jack YouTube videos on how to open up your ipod then check that nothing is broken

You didn't say whether you've tried the headphones on something else to see if they're working. It would be like winning the lottery (figuratively) to find three pairs in a row that didn't work in the same way, but maybe if they're the same brand from the same batch the company who was making them that day in China didn't hook up the left side of any of that batch. If they work on a different device (you can plug them into the computer speaker jack for example), THEN it becomes a real puzzle since the computer speakers work on the iPod.

Hmm, I remember reading something about having different signals for left and right earbuds and how only one would work if you plugged it in the wrong type of device. But as far as I know that only applies to the 2.5mm jacks. I could be wrong though.

Twist the plug and it'll change the different sounds. O_O it worked for me. It changes how you hear from the left kinda
