Would you take a bullet for a friend?

My friend read this really weird book (Dont ask, I dotn know the title he didnt tell me)But the girls highschool got shot up by an insnane guy, and while they were running away (Because they were in the bathroom) he caught them and locked them into a classroom. He had 2 bullets left, one for one of them and one for himself and so he chose the girl, gave her a choice. Your friend or you? And she chose her friend, and she had to live with that decision for the rest of her life. In her position, what would you have done? Me personally, I would have taken the bullet because I love my best friends like family and Theres nothing they wouldnt do for me, and nthing I wouldnt do for them. EDIT: More food for thought, Do you think your best friend/ person who you'd take a bullet for would do the same for you? I was once walking at night in a forest area with my friends ipod headphones in. Hes a metalhead so of course I had it on full blast heavy metal (Which I dislike, but wanted to give it a shot), and my friend randomly threw himself infront of me and pushed me to the ground. I pulled out the headphones and was like "What the heck was that for?". Turns out he heard a gunshot and thought someone was shooting at us. Turns out the highschool we were walking by was having a track meet and we heard the starting gun. I finally thought about it afterwards, and realized what had my friend had done for me and that without hesitation he did that forme. I know for a fact I'd do the same for any of my best friends.

but think about this, if you were to choose yourself, how would your friends and family react? no matter which decision you choose there's going to be pain. It all comes down to whether you're selfish or not

Id take the bullet for my own selfish reasons. if its someone i care about enough to, i wouldnt want to live the rest of my life without them...i would rather die...but that would make them live their lvies no longer with me in it...D':

It depends who. I only have 6 people Id take a bullet for and only one of them is my friend. Oh and Id tell the person to shoot my friend then jump and take a bullet hoping that I have a better chance of avoiding an important body part then if he had aimed and shot at me. This giving my friends the time to tackle and disable the man with the gun.

i Would take a bullet for most of my friends, but if i was in that classroom i would Krav Maga that kid. If he shot me i would still be alive unless he shot me in the head.
