Why do people hate nexon?

Warning: rant ahead. I don't see anyone else making RPGs with 100 mil+ players, making it completely free, and preventing Hackers in some way! Everybody also complains Nexon does nothing and they're lazy. WELL guess what? We say they're lazy, but they Do ALL, and I mean ALL they can do. How can they respond to like 2 mil people a day? Get used to it!

Because they suck at there job. Look at Blizzard. They run a much more complex game and are very helpful to the users.

I totally agree with you, people complain a ton about Nexon and how they always want to make money. They wouldn't have a company at all if they didn't care about money and they can't be perfect in everything they do either.

About a week ago a MWLB member called CaudatusSCA decided to do a summoning event for the enjoyment of players. Lots of people were asking, can you te rid of d/cers?. And he replies that people actually try to d/c him! He did quite a few smega's and we even celebrate after he kills a A/M whoalways ruin the fun of the summonings. But all the smega responses were just like. GO DO YOUR JOB and STOP WASTING TIME ON THIS SHT AND FIX THE GAME. Point is, they try to give enjoment to us while keeping the game at a stable point, but people just take it in as, their problems must be fixed ASAP, wh cares about maintaining this game

Because their customer service sucks. I got permanently banned for buying 60 dollars of NX. It was never undone. I lost 60 dollars AND all my characters. They're idiots. Little rebel teens see everyone hating nexon for being stupid and they decide they are so much smarter than everyone else, they're going to defend nexon because doing what everyone else does is so lame. Give me a break.

They hate them because of their piss poor customer service, I'd imagine. A good friend of mine was locked out of his account for several days. When he tried to log in, the game told him that he was already logged in. He does not have many characters on that account, and none of them were online. Essentially, he was locked out. This has happened to other players, and in many cases the account is released after a server check. He sent Nexon a ticket and waited for five days. They never replied, and he closed the ticket. This guy has been playing for years, it's safe to say that he has spent money on the game, and they couldn't even reply to his ticket. It really seems that for every replied ticket, a dozen go unanswered. Nexon's dismissive attitude towards its players is my biggest problem with them. They rightfully take the "it's free so you can't complain" attitude, but it's really irritating to deal with, especially if you're spending money on the game. Anyway, there you go. A legitimate reason. Poor customer service combined with a dismissive attitude towards a good chunk of paying and non-paying players alike has given me enough reason to never spend money on this game again. If my friends would just quit, then I would uninstall the damned thing.

I don't know anything about blizzard besides that they run world of warcraft, but look at it this way guys, yes blizzard is better from what you claim, I honestly wouldn't know, but look at the other games nexon has to run, patch, fix glitches, and whatever else their job requires. If you want better customer services, then nexon better make it pay to play, so all the little whiny kids, can just be quiet. You whiny people also claim "ohh nexon all they want is money oohhh, I'm such a baby" they have to make money somehow, ever thought of that? They spend money to create the new features we get, so if they didn't sell nx and made the game completely free, they would go out of business. Go watch a movie called "The Corporation" I'm pretty sure nexon is a corporation, you guys that talk smack on nexon will hopefully understand after watching that movie. I for one have never had any major problems with nexon. Yes, I was a victim of that "not able to log in glitch," but you know what I did instead of whined like you little whiny kids? I made friends with the sun! Why? I'm gonna steal nexons slogan here and say, because I can and it's free. I know this thread will fill out more pages, and honestly I got my point across, so I see no point in continuing to argue with anyone that thinks differently from me, I might stick around and read a bit of the claims others make, but that's about it. Nexon isn't helpful to their players and only cares to make money. Also it isn't completly free, it cost $6 just to get necessary skills for Evans (and it's not like you can just buy $6 worth, you have to spend $25).

I don't hate nexon and anyone that plays maplestory in their right mind shouldn't hate nexon either. Nexon runs the game everyone here (mostly) and they regularly release new content and make a good job of it. Those people who say that nexon sucks because they can't keep the hackers from hacking are idiots. Nexon does everything they can do within their budget to prevent those people from hacking. Yeah there are hackers around but that isnt nexons fault. Whenever nexon brings out new content, hackers exploit this and make new hacks. Nexon can't fix this problem within a couple of hours can they? They are of course on a limited budget since this is almost free to play. So grow up stop whining about how nexon sucks, after all they are doing the best they can. :D
