Clannad has gotten me once again

I'm currently watchign Clannad After Story and i got the episode where Nagisa has grauduated. And they go and visit Tomoya's dad in jail. Kind of reminded me of my own life. Dad in jail, mom passed away. Kind of made me a little sad, but the series seems to be getting better as i go on.

Visual novels by Key and the anime adaptations thereof (Kanon, Air, and Clannad) are generally known/notorious for being very emotional/tear-jerking.

[/quote] Yea thats true but *SPOILERS* You know something like that can't happen in real life Ushio died and then what if that was the real ending? that would had been an RL ending... and also heartbreaking... I would be so sad if it ended at 23...

OT: Clannad gets confusing, but everything makes sense in the end. Its pretty damn deep...and stupid, but they had to do it..or i'd cry =P

[/quote] SPOILER***** Apparantly Tomoya died right after Ushio died due to heartbreak, which is why they entered (or realised themselves in) the "dream world" at the same time Yea...if it ended at 21 (i think thats the one u mean) it would be suicide-level depressing...

Thank you Key-devs. [/quote] To be fair: -The 'other world' was included from the start in the anime, and to the best of my understanding you can't get the true ending in the visual novel without getting those light orbs from other routes, so at least it wasn't a last minute deux ex machina. -I HAVE seen an explanation that actually made sense of the miracle.

Wow the ending was a little confusing at first o.o Like i understand why Nasagi didn't end up dying remember when his daughter saw that light go into him? It grants wishes. So i think that's why it went back to there.

The tears wouldn't stop... [/quote] HARDCORE SPOILERS AHEAD. Some guy spoiled Nagisa's death for me, so I didn't really get extremely emotional during that scene. I began tearing up at that part though. Ushio~ The train ride was also pretty emotional, but the part where I actually seriously cried was when Tomoya finally makes up with his father after realizing everything that he gave up in order to raise him. END HARDCORE SPOILERS.
