How do you balance school work and maplestory?

Title says it all, my grades are slipping in school and i dont play maplestory much anymore, but it's still something that i do before i start my homework. and when it comes time to study for a test ill check basil and get lost in forum serfing or check prices in fm. so i want to know what you guys and girls do to be able to still play maple but also get good grades (anything above a B is considered a good grade to me)

Use maplestory as an incentive for schoolwork. Like, tell yourself, "If I finish geometry, I'll reward myself with 30 minutes of playing time."

1. homework/studying before maplestory 2. do most of playing on friday and saturday (not sunday) 3. limit weekdays playing by a constant rate until a minimal time has been achieved 4. try (TRY) not to think about maplestory/basilmarket

Yeah if you do your homework first you can think "Wow I got all my work done now I can play Maple or do something fun for the rest of the day!"

Do your homework before you play, don't go on the comp unless you need to for homework, and study for 1 hour before you play.

Just quit school and work. Play Maplestory full-time and get a bunch of level 200's.

I do my work beforehand, because an Education will get you somewhere that a game can never get you. Anyways, doing my work first helps because if i finish now, no worries later!

I quit MapleStory a year ago or so. I straightened out my priorities, it helped me boost my GPA and enjoy real moments in life. All in all, it comes down to how well you can control yourself, limit the time you spend in virtual reality. I'm easily able to become addicted to anything, MapleStory was once my addiction, now it's the game of Life; the board game<3.
