Will shaving my armpit hair reduce sweat?

I just randomly started sweating to the point where it runs down my ribcage... If I shave my armpit hair, will it make it stop?

But it's not working... =/ I think since there's so much hair, it doesn't get to dry properly, so the heat under my armpit causes the Deodorant/Antiperspirant to turn liquidy and flow down my rib cage.
