An interview with Daniel Kim, Nexon's CEO. GO: How 'free-to-play' are Nexon's games, really? Can you play them to completion without spending anything? Do any of your games require payment to complete? DK: Absolutely free. There are no level restrictions or limits on any of our games and you can enjoy playing them as long as you'd like without spending a dime, which applies to the majority of our players. The items provide conveniences, and the ability to personalize and customize your game experience, but are not necessary to fully enjoy the games. Yea, so in order to complete an evan I have to spend 2k Nx for a vital skill? That doesn't sound so fair to me.

Well as he said in the interview they are "conveniences". You don't really need magic guard.. It just helps you "customize your gaming experience". Btw I'm NOT a nexon employee..

That's why they have a section on their website that gives you NX for doing surveys. For free .

He's actually telling the truth. Do you really NEED NX clothing? Do you really NEED gachapon tickets? Do you really NEED that magic guard or SP reset? No, we don't but it sure does make the game a lot better for us.
