My cousin who lives with my family is 16. He doesn't do anything! I do all the work. Take the dog out, take the dog baths, take out the trash, dust, mow the lawn, whenever my parents need something I'm the one who does it, and clean the windows. He cleans the restrooms. And not ALL the restrooms. ONE restroom. The condition of him moving in was getting good grades and helping with the house. I guess he's helping out the house by doing one thing but it get's me mad that we get the same things, but yet I work way harder for it. And I'm younger than him. And when we have extra chores to do on Saturdays (putting up christmas lights, take them out, gardening etc.) he's gone with some lame ass excuse saying he has to go visit his mom. So basil, is this fair and does he lives up to his conditions of living here? Gahh I had to get that off my chest. So much built up anger.

And it doesn't matter how frequent the chores are. The fact that I do more chores and he does nothing gets me upset. I can't even close my own damn door without my mom being man because the dog will be by itself. But he can have his door closed all day and it doesn't matter.

Don't think of it as a chore. Think of it as character building. Who do you think will succeed later in life? The lazy bum you have for a cousin? Or the hardworking person that is yourself? In Cinderella, I recall her living happily ever after. That can still happen. Don't give up.
