Maplestory button still won't work for me.

When i click the Start Game button, nothing happens. Apparently some other ppl had this problem too and nexon told them to delete their cookies or something. Well i did this and it still doesnt work. i tried it on firefox and Internet Explorer and nothing. I even tried reinstalling MS and again nothing. Ive drawn a blank on what to do. Any ideas?

Sign in to www.nexon.net, go to C:/Nexon/Maplestory or where ever maple is on your computer. Look for Gamelauncher.exe. Run it.

i did exactly what he told me but he didnt specify which button to press: "Go to website" or "Start Game"

go into your maplestory folder and create a shortcut of the exe file called game launcher. drag to your desktop rename it maplestory and play. @above obviously start game -_-

Restart you computer. If I try using the website and then gamelauncher, it doesn't work

Step 1: delete the shortcut on the desktop. if you dont have it skip to step 2 Step 2: Go to your Nexon->MapleStory folder. right click on MapleStory.exe Step 3: Go back to your desktop. right click on your new MapleStory.exe and go to properties Step 4: In Target input box. Type in GameLaunching after MapleStory.exe so it looks like "{path to maple folder}MapleStory.exe GameLaunching" without quotes Step 5: hit Apply, Run the game. That should skip all the new things nexon put in the exe and get you stright to the game. Hope it helps Note: about step 1 just incase you moves maple / missing exe or any other known issues regarding shortcuts. fresh one makes it easier to write a guide =P
