Ice Breath training vs Dragon Thrust training

Im lvl 63 at the moment and of course using ice breath to train. What I was wanting to know is, is it faster to train with breath at ice weak spots (charmers, red kents, etc) or go somewhere with more spawn (i honestly have no idea) and use dragon thrust until lvl 80? Thanks alot.

on ice weak monster ice breath does 180 max atk while dragon thrust is stuck at 160 atk.....

So ice breath training is better. Also, since ice breath will be the main training attack, does that mean critical and booster take priotity over dragon thrust? Every guide Ive looked at says "dragon thrust, DO IT NOW!" dosent make much sence considering ice breath is better to train with.

Ice breathe is used for freezing, then you spam Dragon thrust to do dammage.

well i kinda alternate between thrust and breath Freeze > Thrust > walk up to monsters while charging up freeze > thrust

I maxed Thrust first, and kind of regretted it. I would go critical first to power up ice breath, because otherwise it takes too long to catch up. Thrust is significantly slower than Ice Breath, and you'll only outdamage Ice Breath once it's a high level. And without 11 booster, its lack of speed hurts. With critical, you can get stronger faster, and vs. ice weak monsters the effect is even greater (whereas you get no elemental advantage with Thrust).

so get 5 booster->max critical->11 booster-> Thrust but you just basically attak like: Charge ice->thrust[frozen here] until dead and repeat is needed?

Booster doesn't help Ice Breath nearly as much as critical. Ice Breath spends more time charging than cooling down. If you wait to use Ice Breath again until after your dragon has fully retracted from the first use, you can actually use it much earlier. If you master this timing, you eliminate the need for booster while using Ice Breath. However, booster really helps with things like Flare and especially Thrust, though, once you are to the point of using that.

What guide are you reading? Aiders guide (the one I helped with my experiences as an Evan) recommends Critical and Booster first, Ice Breath training destroys thrust training in every way possible, in exp per hour, not being difficult to do, and pot saving. Thrust has only ONE use, and thats grouping monsters, using it for anything else is idiotic.
