What's so bad about Xbows?

I never see anybody as a crossbowman. Why? Any negatives to it? I'm considering making one

Well, I think that they don't have as much damage as the others, but it makes up because they have ranged attacks. C: As said before, they're also very cheap to have if you have regular strength. My sister's one, and I don't think she complains all THAT much about the slow levelling. Go for it~!

I have played a crossbow before (lvl. 68) It was boring for me. I don't think it was boring. I know it was boring for me. Are you offended because you're a crossbowman yourself? And why do you care if they are unpopular? what difference does it make? Do you want your CHEAP ass crossbow att. scrolls to inflate?

@kingpharouk: If the bow and xbow both have the same speed, there is only a tiny difference in pick-up speed. But the amount of ms it takes is so tiny, people consider there is no difference. @v1branc3: Not as much damage? Yikes, another minsconception! Slow leveling? Yikes, another misconception!

They are VERY slow. But I am pretty sure that their cheap scrolls make up for the power.

If they get more popular, their scrolls would inflate.. Would you like that? And you really need to calm down.

[/quote] Yeah some people get too offensive about it... anyway I'm disappointed you didn't get to sniper at least, I mean I was ready to quit several times during 2nd job, but yeah sniper is just that awesome!

MusicIsLife may not know much about xbows... but you need to chill a little. haha and yeah, like he said, you shouldn't flame on him or anything because your class becomes unpopular. It just makes things more expensive for you if crossbows become more popular.

The first part is totally based on opinion, therefore not valid. And by the way, second job xbow does get boring, you need to get to third job to enjoy the fun. The second part is totally wrong. Okay, they might be a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bit slower than the others with booster, but the difference is soooooooooooooooooooooo small. I just don't like it when people say things like they know everything, when they know nothing about something ( a class i.c.) Are you offended because you're a crossbowman yourself? And why do you care if they are unpopular? what difference does it make? Do you want your CHEAP ass crossbow att. scrolls to inflate? First part, no. It would be silly if I was offended by something related to a game. Second part, I do care. I don't care if our scrolls inflate or not, but popularity lso makes a difference in.... well, point of view from others. In eMS and MSEA, people sometimes still laugh at me because I'm a "lolbow", "failbow", or in dutch, a "nixbow", a "nothingbow". I don't really care about that, but it shouldn't get any worse. However if there are people like you claiming xbowmen are bored and stuff, things won't ever change.
