Just wondering, which final 4th job class would you say is the cheapest to fund to get the most damage?

Yeah, I'd say MM. Snipe always does 200k regardless of your damage range.

Corsair, in terms of DPM, would probably be the most cost-effective.

MM are fairly cheap for the damage they dish out (3rd highest solo'ers). I would suggest going to Gali if you intend to make one though, its easy to find xbow 30%'s for 100-300k in the FM, allowing you to make a nice little xbow.
