Advanced Str crystal on weapons?

So just a wacky idea of mine: what if you had 115 str (65 base), then asked someone to mw 20-30 you to raise your str up to 12x to equip a reverse xbow with 5 str on it from an advanced str crystal. Then you'd have 120 str altogether! Or, would that not work? Opinions?

Um, im not 100% comprehending, but if what your asking is can you have the dex needed to equip your weapon ON your weapon, then no.

i have no idea i know i can't equip my nl's lampion without mw but i really don't know it might work, but then you'd never be able to un equip it =P

WOAh that is a smart idea. i wish i had thought of that. my engaw has +5 str, but i still needed to add my base str.

Yea, it will work, but don't take it off or you would have to find another person to MW.

no you can't because you must have the stats to equip the item without the stats it gives you

I think when MW runs out you wont be holding the equip. Not 100% sure on this one.

You can't use the stats on the item itself to equip it.

I'm not sure what you're saying, but you need to have enough total str before equipping the xbow to wear it. And that excludes str from the weapon you're wielding before it.

the 5 str from the bow wont help u equip it so when the MW 20-30 runs out the bow in your equip slot will be red. until u recast mw 20-30 i hope i explained it rite

Oh, has this been tested before? Edit: For those that don't understand what I'm trying to say, here's a simplified version, I think. Basically, I'm trying to see whether adding strength on a weapon is useful or not, in terms of equipping the weapon. I know that strength on a weapon won't help because you can't equip it until you already have the required strength. But, what if you utilize maple warrior to raise your strength to the required amount, and then equipped it. e.g. If you had 115 str with 65 base str, and then got someone to use maple warrior to raise your strength to 120, the required amount to equip a reverse xbow with 5 strength on it. Then, you would have 120 str without maple warrior, because you gained 5 strength from your weapon. I just see this as a cheaper alternative to using an advanced dex crystal on my reverse xbow. Then again, people have been saying this isn't possible, but I'm not entirely sure they know what I mean. So hopefully this clears up some confusion!

Here's what happened with me and my Lampion. 136 Base dex without MW / Claw / Shoes I use MW10 (110 base dex) and I can equip my reverse items (shoes and claw) and my 14 dex katinas. 155.5 dex without claw and shoes, yet I can equip my reverse items. My Claw has 6 dex, my shoes have 10 dex. Total dex amounts to 171 after MW.

And the lampion only requires 160 Dex.
