Maplestory Anniversary what actually Happens?

Ok ... so this will be my first Maplestory Anniversary this year ^^ and im just wondering What actually Happens? i Hear people talking about Maple weapons and stuff so i liked to know about it =)

Generally during the maple anniversary, they have a massive amount of events/one big event. Monsters will also drop maple weapons/shield. For example, last year, there was a huge agent event with about 6 events all together. You could get a special chair by getting a golden leaf from the maple tree. You could collect maple leaves that monters drop and trade them in to Tienk for Boss cards, trade them into Cassandra for special scrolls, etc. They may even release new Maple items.

yea monsters drop maple weapons but they are hard to find

Back at the time, I though I hit jackpot, since it even was a massive 2 above average . Ended up NPCing it a year and a half later . It just depends on your luck, seeing as all monsters drop all Maple weapons (I believe, not sure), you could get a Skanda from a snail... On Maple Island.

[/quote] Not really. Last year during Anniversary Event all the Islanders grinded like hell... And no maple items were found... So no. But yea, the Anniversary Event is really fun. We will at least get that Lyonel Chair this year, and Maple Weapons dropping, i guess Cake Boss too ^^

They dont drop from random monster if u looked on hidden b4 the last update u could see that In example Maple Kandayo Dropped From Evil Eyes and maybe it would b nice if we maked a Thread for this info this year =)

Nexon was actually kind enough to release a list of which monsters dropped which maple weapons last year. [/quote] You could also get special maple equips using the leaves. Specifically, earrings and helms. I don't think that the agent events came alongside the anniversary though, not in GMS at least.

i gms i remember once every mob dropped a maple wep, i, for example, got a lvl 70 maple hat on maple island but in EMS its special kinds of mobs, atleast last year, so lets wait and hope

It's kind of hard to say... Three years ago there were puff daddies, two years ago there weren't any, and last year there were level 70 non-boss monsters that looked like puff daddies, and the GMs summoned the real things at random. Nexon seems to just like to keep everyone on their toes when it comes to events.

Will we get new Maple weapons? oO Like lvl 88 weapons or something? I have no idea but isn't this going to be totally new?
