I chose Bow over Crossbow. Did I make the right choice? Are BM better then MM in any way? Can someone give me 3-5 reasons why I made the right choice? No stupid ones please.

Yeep BMs are better then those nobody MMs in every single way. That way you should keep him, tell all ur friends to make BMs cuz MMs are a myth and they dont exist. Right guys ;D

There is no right or wrong, only what you prefer yourself. If there were "right" and "wrong" jobs, you wouldn't be able to choose between Bowman and Crossbowman. Because the "wrong" job would not exist. Ask yourself; "Do I enjoy playing as a Hunter/Crossbowman?" Edit: @above: rofl. Totally. What is Crossbowman? Can you eat it?

You made the right choice because you chose your personal preference. BM and MM are so similar, that it boils down to what you prefer, a slow hard hitting cbow? or a fast light hitting bow, the rest (damage, bossing, training etc.) are all as equal as you can get in this game.

You guys are always complaining about people who make crossbowman because when people make them in masses, your cheap scrolls 'increase' and your so called "unique" class isnt so special anymore. [/quote] You know there are TONS of guides about the archers class all he needs to do is click forum and go to the archer section and voila. He could also use his brain and search up youtube vids to help make his decision. Im tired of reading threads like this people it always ends up in a flame war. How am I being stuck up? At what point did I boast about my class? Because I fail to see that how im being stuck up. I gave up on threads like this so from now on ill just say what most people want to say. I dont care if he makes a bm or a mm but honestly people need to get their heads out of the bedai and look at guides and do research, not ask stupid questions. I mean common what kind of question is "did I make the right choice" your just creating a flame war. So before you come in here and attack me how about you think about what you say. Its funny you say Marksmans are stuck up, heroes are just as bad when it comes to arans and bf.

They even out like almost perfectly. There is no right or wrong choice. It's all in your personal preference.

Asking other people about what you like isn't going to get you anywhere. Researching gives you information about which class that suits you best. Asking random people on Basil will most likely end up in a biased debate. "Hey, Random person. What am I interested of?" is exactly the same as "Am I making the right choice?". You're the one who decides if it's right or not. I personally made a Ranger and got it to level 78. It wasn't fun playing it so I re-rolled and made a Crossbowman. Simple as that.

It's not bad enough that every 5th archer has to come to basil and post which class to pick and claim they've read the stickies and still can't decide, now some of them have to come here and say "I made this choice. Help me justify it." They're both great classes in their own way. Play what you enjoy.

[/quote] So it's my fault now? I have read guides, similar threads and watched videos. But I'm just trying to get some more knowledge. I know they're both equal, just trying to see if I made the right choice. Not my fault people start a flame war. Edit: End this stupid thread in fact. I shouldn't have tried to get more info about the archer class. All my fault. And Moderators, please ban me. I made such a huge mistake.

Right guys ;D [/quote] This. I got to level 30, all happy to make a bowman. To get the advancement I had to go kill a green snail. I thought "Wow that's easy, can't wait!". I found a green snail, shot an arrow and missed it. I Instantly got teleported back to Athena who told me to either quit or suck it up and be a fail Crossbowman becuase they didn't want me to make bowman look bad. Thank goodness your not that bad and were able to make the advancement to bowman.
