Yeah. IIRC, one of the PS3 controller's cords is a usb cord right? With proper drivers, you can use it on your computer, and with JoyToKey, you can use it to change controller key presses to keyboard presses.

Omg, I remember there was a poster who actually taught you how to use it! I bookmarked it but I think I got rid of it. He used some program called Xpadder or something similar.

Yes, simply plug the ps3 controller, find drivers if they're not pre-installed, and use JoyToKey to set keys. I've already played it with a gamepad (however, it was a PC Logitech gamepad, but you should be fine).
