End game 1H Sword as a Hero?

Hey guys, I'm saving up some money for a good 1H sword. Which sword should I buy though? Red Katana? Sparta? Dragon Carabella? Reverse Executioner? Some say use the Red Katana as it is faster. Isn't the weapon attack difference too big? Which sword would give me the highest DPS?

it depends on preference/funding, personally yes I find the red katana's weapon attack difference too large and enough to affect training speed in terms of 1 or 2 hitting. If you're going to go fast 5, you should go reverse executioner since it simply has a very high base attack.

Red Katana is only fast 4 but reverse excuitoner is fast 5 the speed difference wont matter seeing as the attack damage between them is huge the attack damage of the Reverse Excuitoner will easily make up for the ONE speed level and the Excuitoner will out damage the Red Katana easily on dpm.

A godly red katana is just awesome though, but yeah. reverse executioners is almost always better Youre gonna need massive funds to get a nice 1h sword though, and a nice shield. massive funds, like 2b+

a reverse/katana would be good but if you don't have the money, simply get a well scrolled sparta/carabella, they're cheap and easy to make with maker

I got a 102 attack katana for 70m and i a 14 attk shield for 100m, in windia. I'm using a 113attk raven though, cause i like the big numbers :p

If you have the money, definitely get a Reverse 1h sword. (Forgot the name) I saw an 131/18 0 slot hammered one for 1.2b before.

To me there personally is no endgame weapon that isn't perfectly scrolled so i wouldn't say that, but going with a fast (5) sword is almost always better then RK just because a decent RK is almost non existent and once you climb above 125 attk on a 1h sword you start to need a 110+ Rk to par it about. I personally don't recommend reverse item's unless your going to scroll a really nice one (50%,100% gm scroll[the white ones], or white scroll 10%) otherwise having no resale value kinda sucks.

If your total Watt is very high, the RK is the best option, but an Executioner works just fine.

Rks have the highest potential simply because the increase that one speed level makes, Throw in awsome attack equipment of a well funded high level player and an apple and now the RK dominates every sword in every situation unless SI is a factor. I personally use a 112 rk at the moment and love it but their is no end game weapon unless it was perfectly 10/30/50 scrolled on all 9 slots.

To the people who say the RK fails compared to the Reverse Executioner, a hypothetical situation for a very rich endgame: lv 180, 900 STR (1035 STR with Maple Warrior), 0 DEX 40 W.ATT Miscellaneous 100 W.ATT Onyx Apple 20 W.ATT Shield 136 W.ATT Red Katana (88+3+45) (100 HPM) 163 W.ATT Reverse Executioner (111+3+4+45) (90 HPM) Red Katana: 1035*4/100*296*1.9*5.2*100 = 12,107,347.2 DPM Reverse Executioner: 1035*4/100*323*1.9*5.2*90 = 11,890,560.24 DPM Thus, at bossing, the Red Katana at endgame can outdamage the Reverse Executioner. However, the RE could beat the RK at training if it is the deciding factor between a certain number of hits for killing an enemy.

that's only on apple and most people aren't appled very often. Even with the apple the increase is very small and disappears with SI. While it is a rather normal bossing situation, it is still pretty much the only situation. And with new mobs with higher hp/defense coming out, you may find yourself wishing for that extra 20-30 attack, assuming you're are forging a perfect weapon here.
