Mu Lung Dojo questions?

How do you get belts? I also don't see the purpose of the dojo as well, and if you die in the dojo do you lose exp?

you kill the monsters and go to the next stage. you dont lose exp. and the belts are in point incriments -- white belt is 200 yellow is 1800 and so on. if you got time and your bored i say go for it at least to get your white belt

To get the belts you must participate in the dojo and get training points . The belts require certain amount of points in order to aquire them. No you will not lose any expirience if you die inside the dojo.

What level do you recommend on trying to solo it? or what level should you be to go in as party of 2 or 3?

umm, well it really depends on your stats, you should go and try it first, see how far you can go. If it is decent (10-15 rounds?) solo it. if it isn't decent try looking for a party, or leveling and go again later when you are a higher level. the belts are pretty good, white belt(200 points) gives 1/1/1/1 and uhh..some other stuff o.o but yea, just go and try it first to see how far you can go. [/quote] Iirc, some 4th Job classes can't even solo it at all since you can't use your own potions (in other words, 1/1 or certain status effects mean you're screwed). The object's not just to solo the whole thing though since you get points for every stage you clear, just get as far as you can. I think you can effectively get a White Belt sometime in early 2nd Job though by getting up to King Centipede and restarting.

I'm bad with estimating, so I can't say which stage I think you'll make it to via soloing. Just for basic information, in case you didn't know, in each stage there is a boss that spawns monsters occasionally. Defeat the boss (the spawns will usually drop potions, the potions are used the moment you pick them up - good because you don't need to use your own potions) and advance to the next stage, which will give you dojo points. If you solo, you get 1 more points per stage then if with a party, but a party will get you further, faster. I don't remember off the top of my head, but you'll get your first belt with 200 dojo points, which gives you a boost to each stat (str, dex, etc.). The next is yellow at something like 1800 points, then blue, red and black at 17000 points. Once you've reached that amount, you can't gain anymore, so I suggest you get the belt and reset your points. And then start all over again!

on my level 57 aran, i can solo up to around dyle or papa pixie (if i dont die on centipede/alishar/mushmom), then i either restart or die. it really depends on your class, level, and attack/buff power. since your an i/l mage at level 52, your best chance of soloing is up to centipede.

I haven't tried recently but last time I was able to get to Manon. I might be able to do it this time if I get lucky and use puppet well. Snipe takes out crog instantly<3
