ok so are u embaressed about being asain or dissapointed etc etc. if ur mexican or anything else u can say if u want to EDIT: wow this is pretty surprising to find out how other people think about this subject. EDIT 2: what do u mean half white half asian? do u mean like u have an asian background but u were born in lets say canada?

i like & hate a lot of aspects of being asian .. i`m almost on the white-washed border because i try to avoid it.

no. the community (at least here in orange county) is mostly caucasian, but it doesn't make a difference. i don't really notice the fact that i'm asian, and sometimes we all forget that some of us come from different ethnic backgrounds. it's just how we are, and we all get along :P

Well im filipino(asian) so the eyes, how fluent we speak, tanned, no chopstick and lots of things are different to the typical asian stereotype anyway, im proud of what i am....and i don't envy any other race

I'm not really embarassed about being asian itself, I kinda learn to live with it. But that being said I'm kinda dissapointed in being born into the life I'm in, family in particular. It's hard being born into a family where everyone expects so much of you yet gives you so little. Not in terms of money or wealth or anything - we're pretty well off, but my family are antisocial as heck, they have no idea what life is really about... don't value others, etc. And being sick on top of that, having a spastic dad and a brother who's ignorant, arrogant, obnoxious and never shuts up, and having too many expectations, yeah all that stuff. I'm just sick of my family and I want to get the hell out of here, out into the real world, where I can have my own life and do what I want. I really wonder what life could have been if I'd just been born into any other normal white family, lived in the suburbs, had an awesome extended family with cousins and a sister or something, had more friends, less expectations... just a more normal life in general.... -sigh- @above- yeah, that elitist thing. its rediculous.

Asians in my school are made fun of. I'm in year 10 and we have got about 10+asians. I don't make fun of them and totally respect them but the others keep making fun of them. Only the tall, thin, epic hair asian guys/girls are accepted and are part of our group. I can't really explain it but the short smart asians are hated and they don't really have a sense of humour but the tall rebel ones I don't know if they have a specific name of that type of asian lol. Type in shimmycocopuffss in youtube and that's the type of cool asian I'm talking about.
