| Hello yes it's me again. And I want to address KSing and map holding rules. This is purely my personal opinion. I would like to hear from you. If you starting throwing negativity in the air you sparked the flame war. Not me. Try to NOT start a flamewar, I'm open to discussion without "offensive" words. Also read the WHOLE thread. What are they? Apparently the idea is since there's 20 channels, 20 people should train on a good exp map while others can go drown in pathetic maps. Okay seriously now. A guy can "hold" a map and during 2x he supposed to train there and no one should come and interfere. (go correct this) Like Utopian Socialism, we got problems So anyway people do KS,etc when people hold maps, and leads to a HUGE war and usually a thread on basil. The logic where I own a map Technically we all know we don't own the maps. But people tend to think, if the map's empty I should have control of the whole map if I'm there first. No one can come share or KS me or kill the same mobs. So if everyone does this there will be order. Since everyone gets a fair chance at getting a map first and be the first ~190(11 worlds) to train at that specific epic map. No one will KS me and I can do the same exact thing so it's all fair. My logic I think this system is genius if only people everyone follows this system, too bad whenever I hold a map or try to follow this system I get either Scenario 1:"is mi 4x can u ccplz" and I feel pity and I cc... Scenario 2:"I am a bowman/sin, KSing a warrior, Please easy stuff" Scenario 3:"I'll just call my guild/epic friend/bishop friend to come here then" I don't know but it only looks to me people only with REALLY good connections can train freely because they have the power to maintain the map. But that isn't really "fair" for everyone else. But this will go to the Life's not fair deal with it. But the whole logic of holding map is supposed to be "fair" but in all it isn't. Don't get me wrong there are people who follow this rule but not everyone does it. Most people don't follow this rule. And if some people don't need to follow it why can't I? But once again I think this system is just plain silly. 20 people get to get a good map, why? Because they got there first, they afked for like 3 hours for it. Or they got friends to back them out if you want to cause them trouble. I like how certain people who don't have that power cant train in a good map. I like how we continued to get oppressed while other people can just say follow the rules. I like how everyone who gets powerless remains powerless and we cant do anything except CC. I like how everyone's like everyone being oppressed should just be passive and CC because the rules in place. I'm not the only person getting my map stolen. This is just like monopolizing the whole Maple World. Like really, guys lets just make like 10000 characters and HOLD EVERY SINGLE MAP. But you know what I bet if that happen every who goes "Just CC" would just start trying to D/C us or try |

Why would you bring violence in something that can be solved Peacefully? @above:Because it's not your map. They can train there. If you cant play solo then maplestory isn't a game for you. |

| Ksing happens. But I don't agree with you on just ksing for no reason. I ks people, but I literally go around and I exploit reasons to ks. I ks the rude people. I ks the hackers, the dcers (Yeah, I've ksed WHILE being dc hacked before). But ksing for no reason, in my opinion, is harrassment. |

| eh its life. its just how most maplers are. we could change it but the majority would be complaining so we cant change it well ur solution is good but u rely dependently on every single kser out there to just stop. (not like this is gonna happen easiliy) |

| Well I have a party with a priest already, we are on 4x, 2 people on the map already, and some bishop/am/aran/other class comes and kses? We are already sharing the map, what more do you want us to do? Let the whole population of maplestory in so we can waste our time training? |

| Nexon could easily fix this with more mini dungeons, they know the bishop/dcing system at gallos, yet they don't do shiit about it ._____. |

| Actually there are 19 channels not 20. And not "170 out of 10 million" get a map--there are multiple maps to train at. There are plenty of maps that free-for-all is common: for example Ant Tunnel 1. There are plenty of maps where partying is common: for example Newts. There are plenty of maps where mini-dungeons can be used so everyone gets a map: for example Skeles. There are plenty of maps where there usually aren't people on every single channel: for example almost every single map. 99% of the time you will be able to find a spot/channel/party. If you can't find one, remember that not every single person needs to train at the map that yields the highest possible experience (this is the same reason that people oft prefer to solo or exclude you from your party.) If you don't think people should be so elite in their training, you should be comfortable at a slightly less potent map. It's not that bad, I promise. There are lots of places to train... seriously. The maple world is huge. Finally, you failed to propose a solution. You really didn't propose anything of substance. |

| Too bad this for the most part is not true. I am the in the 2nd most populated word, Windia, and ANY map I train at has at least 1 channel open. :/. While I do ask a person first if they want to party first because of exp benefits, if he says no I will lay down my territory and he will lay down his. Usually ONE person cannot monopolize all the mobs in a map, and if that one person can, I will immediatelly CC no questions asked. Also as a side, there are many good exp maps found ALL around maplestory DESIGNED for different classes. EVEN if one map , ie. MP3, has been known for its glorious EXP there are other maps. The thing that annoys me most is when someone, usually a sin or a NW comes in and kses me, asks me to CC, and does not speak any further. Does not answer my requests, does not respond at all, and continues. At this point, I CC and have usually found either a channel to myself again, or a channel in which I can share. Faith in humanity. There will always be one channel open, or one person willing to share. |

People want to train at the "Popular maps." If the all the maps of MapleStory can support every mapler we wouldn't have this problem would we? It's to the point where some maps are poor exp for that level but another map is better. And how I should suffer at a lower exp (Ex: Level 70 WR:800 exp and Level 70+Ludi Monsters 250 exp) because some kid monopolizes the map. @above:During 2x? Also keep in mind there are many people who would not agree with you. AND even if there's one map open. You take it. Someone comes. Starts KSing not responding. What do you do? |
