Do you think continuing a bowman is a waste of time?

I know i made this post ebfore but i didnt get that many answers? Im VERY bored with my archer right now.The only reason why im using his is cuz i think the BM class is very good. But overall,do you think its a waste of time? So many people say its a weak class and stuff.Ive been thinking about making a bucc. But do you think its worth the time train my archer to lvl 120? And im poor btw >.> 20 mill Should i use this account to fund a bucc? Your thoughts please

I personally loved my marksmen since lvl 1. If you don't like it, then quit, but it's up to you. Maple is about having fun rather than grinding for hours just to hope that you will have fun with it in the future even if you aren't sure it'll be fun.

Video games are generally ment for fun; however, even though video games in general are already time killers, if you do not use it in the purpose it was intended for <-(doesn't neccassarily apply to everything), then yes it is considered 'a waste of time'. (or in terms, a BIGGER waste of time) =O

o.o... I actually liked my damage, skills, and enjoyed training all my classes through third. So I think you should get off your high horse and express your opinions for what they really are, opinions. You make it sound like it's a fact that no one likes playing MS til 4th job. OT: If you don't like second job I can't blame you, hunters are grueling second job :S They get a lot more variety + fun at 3rd. Imo anyways. Have fun and gl.

Not all people are destined to get to fourth job.

Well, i don't hate playing as a hunter, but it's not nearly as fun as playing on a bowmaster. But, if you really don't enjoy it, don't play it because if you don't reach bm, it will become a really big waste of time.

[/quote] this game isnt just about seeing high numbers and making yourself look like a jackass in front of people who never really care what you are behind the computer just because 1-3rd job isnt the last job advancement there is, that doesnt make them crappier than 4th job, couple years ago when there wasnt 4th job, people who were over lvl 100 were pretty dam awesome imo. if you're saying all pre-4th job skills suck, then make a character, get it to 4th job, and try to get from 120-200 without using any pre-4th job skills since you find them crappy.

I'll tell you a little story. Once upon a time I began playing MapleStory the summer of 2005. I played the game on and off for 4 years. And in that 4 year time frame, I tried out every character imaginable and leveled it up to 40--except for a cleric. So, one day I made a cleric. I leveled her up. It was a pain to get to 30, and then to 35. But once I got to 35 I seemed to be nearing some potential. I leveled my cleric up to 50, and finally past 50. Up until then, I had spent 4 years never exceeding level 51. And then I got her to 108. And then a Chief Bandit to 72. And then an Ice/lightning mage to 89. Moral of the story: try a character until 50 to mid 50's before you make any judgments. If you absolutely hate it at 40, chances are not much will change by 50. If you don't like it at 50, you more than likely won't have the motivation to get to 120. I never got past 50 on characters because I didn't like them enough. I loved my priest, CB, and Mage enough to continue past 50 to make it to where I am. I had a 50 sin, completely capable of getting to 70 with very good gear and still hated it and quit that character. I had no money for my priest, but went out of my way to do quests that I otherwise wouldn't have even done had it not been for how much I liked my priest. Anyone can name a character and level it to 200. Anyone can do that multiple times. But, what makes a character unique and a "character" is the time, effort, and enjoyment you get out of the character. Accomplishing level 120 won't mean much if you didn't have fun on the way there.
