D/C hacking doesn't work?

okay, i am playing maplestory right now and i am CPQ-ing and i was Tw-ing with 2 other guys. and my friend left and it was just ther i win and then i was thinking of grinding since my partner left. Suddenly ther is some guy from the Tw we just finished facing started trying to D/C me. he spammed: @@@ and so on..... something like that to get me d/ced. while i was grinding i ignored it. i didn't disable whispers or anything. D/c hacking doesn't work anymore ?
