Some intervention about the loosley used term: Pro

Well my wonderful maplers/basilers/trolls. With the way maple has been the last couple of months and the recent release of Evans: I, no, we seriously need a new definition of this not really honorary but more of a "respectful" word. Why? Cruising around on my noob lvl 31 Evan, I always see like lvl 70+ evans. One I had a brief exchange with told me "Look how pro I am! Its only been a week or so F3." I reply "nice, what lvl is your bishop?" (He was lvl 107) Him: "Dude I dont leech..." Me: "Lol ok bro" Him: " Whatever your just a noob. I bet your main is like a lvl 40 nw" Now personally I never mention my main ign on new characters, I want to play with people for fun, that fact is unnecessary. Me: "Even if it was I never leeched" Moments right after he dc hacks me while he F3s... I don't need a ss or to mention his ign. That is not my intention. My point? Does proving you leech and dc hack all in one encounter still defines you as pro? What is a pro in the modern day world of maple full of dc hacks, leeching, duping and scamming?

GM's are pro... and thank god that Elite knows the definition of pro cause its annoying as heck how people use the word "pro" without even knowing what it means.

High level..but mature..not a total NIB..Nib meaning annoying stupid high lvls =.= the high lvled ppl that dont enjoy the suffering of noobs, the ones who help the noobs. noobs=beginners

You should do a conceptual analysis to figure out what this concept of "pro" is. Just a word as well, you can never get the exact definition of anything, but a general idea of it. As well, people use it with different meanings, which is why you should do a conceptual analysis. There's also no right or wrong. If there was, the word "sick" would continue to refer purely to some medical illness, and never something that's hip or cool. What does "hip" or "cool" mean? CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS!

People who could get to lv100+ legit 3 years ago were considered pro. Because they didn't have insanely godly equips.
