quick karma scissors question

Do karma scissors only allow a trade for items like pendants and zhelms that specifically mention the scissors at the bottom of their description? i have an unused scissors, and im just thinking of using it on a chief stans hat. will that work? thanks. sorry, atm i cant test this myself

It only works on items that explicitly say that you can trade one time with scissors of karma.
