UNcap my luk for an estaff or get reverse staff at lvl 120?

hey guys, im an ice/light lvl 104 and my luk is capped at base 65, 87 with gear... now to get my lvl 103 estaff i need 105 luk, and to get the lvl 163 estaff you need 165 luk. my question is: will my dmg be higher in the end if i keep my luk low and just go with a reverse staff at lvl 120? Or is it better to have less INT and get the 1.5x dmg from the estaff?

I'm pretty sure that a level 103 Elemental Staff has a lesser LUK requirement than the Reverse Aeas Hand. So if you can keep your LUK at that level and use that Reverse Aeas Hand, then it should also be enough for said Elemental Staff. Sorry for my unhelpful post. Just felt the need to point that out.

Yeah, 103 elemental staff is 105 luk, and the aeas hand is like 120 or 123. The elemental staff gives 1.25x to ice and 1.10x to lightning. It's better than all other weapons except for elemental wand(/staff if you somehow get it) 7.

Always go with elemental weapons, unless you're a bishop. Personally I would keep your luk capped now and get a e wand 3 for the time being, then switch to a e wand 7 when you get to 130. Your damage will thank you for it.

[/quote] This is good do-able advice. Skip over the Lvl 103 E.Staff and just go for Lvl 130 E.Wand, if you can afford it, is do-able. Since you still need an additional ~20 Luk, you should just stick with Lvl 70 E.Wand. The Luk you need to add will only give you a very small additional M.atk from Lvl 103 E.Staff. So you should just stick with your Luk as is and use Lvl 70 E.Wand. Lvl 70 E.Wand's are cheaper than Lvl 103 E.Staff's, too. This way is cheaper, much easier, and less stressful. Always, E.weapons > Non-E.weapons. The only reason to not use an E.weapon is for looks and purposedly wanting to be weak in comparison.
