In an Earthquake situation

Would you, in a major earthquake, in school, hide under your desk and hold onto the legs/cover your neck/general procedures, or would you run outside to an open field as far away as possible from objects that could fall on you?

i really, really dont get why u stay.. i mean running.. how do buildings fall on you wen ur far away from any tall building? seriously wtf? if it was a tornado i understand why u stay in the basement.. bt staying inside? wen u open ur eyes.. all u will see is ded people, crushed by the debris

I'd run. Hopefully I wouldn't be in 4th period where my class is on the upper floor of a building. Or 1st or 5th period where I'll have to run uber fast out of hallways so the upper floors don't crash on me.
