Planning on gettings a NDS.

I have a few questions. 1) Which model should i buy? 2) I've been playing roms on my emulator for a while now, and i want to get roms on this NDS. What stuff would i need to buy to get started? How would i do this? 3) Where is the best place to get these items. Edit: Thanks for the help everyone!

Hmmm. A DSLite should be good or you can get a DSi. Personally, when I saw the DSiXL the first thing that came to mind was "It's not portable". Since you play roms get something like a R4 or R4i depending on which DS you get.

1. DS Lite is probably the best choice 2. Acekard 2i is probably the best choice right now. 3. Anywhere for the DS Lite. As for the card, look around online. They're usually like 16 bucks. Also, if you're fine with searching a lot, TTDS is probably the cheapest card. Mines works perfectly and it only costed me 6 bucks.

Dsi or Dsi XL. No sense in buying an outdated model. also, the dsi xl is very portable.

Micro SD memory card to store the games and saves too. Those shouldn't cost much though.

I think Acekard 2 is cheaper. Not really sure. Might be the same thing except that 2i works on DSi too. Some places might sell them, but not any big retail stores.

[/quote] let me tell you this from experience. the classic ds is the best version. the dsi XL is the 2nd best version, the dsi is 3rd, and the ds light is last. the non-original ones have TERRIBLE battery life because of their 4x brighter screen, the dsi and ds light have that small slot for gba games that makes em stick out, and SNAG ON THINGS AND BREAK, not to mention jerk your game out of the socket ruining it if you were playing anything. also for roms, get a ds supercard. thats the best rom transfer, and it also lets you play videos, music, ect on your ds.
