| Evan Skill Guide Last Updated : 04/12/2010 21:01 BT Feel free to PM Aider/Ellinia This guide was made only to help Evans decide which skills to put first. There are still many skill builds to come but I have come up with the basic skill builds that you will need to survive. If you wish to recommend some skill builds, please post or PM me in the link above. Please note that Evans have the ability to max all their skills due to the help of SP quests. Table of Contents : Evan Dragon Mastery Levels • 1st Mastery Skills/Builds • 2nd Mastery Skills/Builds • 3rd Mastery Skills/Builds • 4th Mastery Skills/Builds • 5th Mastery Skills/Builds • 6th Mastery Skills/Builds • 7th Mastery Skills/Builds • 8th Mastery Skills/Builds • 9th Mastery Skills/Builds • 10th Mastery Skills/Builds Other • Useful Links for Evans • Special Thanks to: 1st Mastery Skills Dragon Soul - The soul of the Dragon is strengthened to improve magic attack. Passive Skill Magic Missile - Use MP to attack an enemy in the distance twice. Active Skill 1st Mastery Build Explanation : Max Magic Missile to greatly improve damage and your speed of training. Dragon Soul is a helpful 20 magic attack boost (at max) to help improve damage. Build 1 : (Recommended*) +20 Magic Missile (Maxed) +20 Dragon Soul (Maxed) Explanation : 1 Magic Missile is added on early for the 1st attacking skill of an Evan. Dragon Soul is a helpful 20 magic attack boost (at max) to help improve damage. Max Magic Missile to maximize damage. Build 2 : +1 Magic Missile +20 Dragon Soul (Maxed) +19 Magic Missile (Maxed) In the End 20 Dragon Soul (Maxed) 20 Magic Missile (Maxed) 2nd Mastery Skills Fire Circle - Use MP to attack multiple enemies with a fire element. Active Skill Teleport - Use the arrow keys to teleport to other places in the same map on a set distance Active Skill 2nd Mastery Build Explanation : 1 Teleport is enough for a low-level Evan because 1 Teleport is dramatically different usage of MP compared to a Magician. Fire Circle will help training through the ability to mob. Max out Teleport after Fire Circle to reduce MP usage. Build 1 : (Recommended*) + 1 Teleport +20 Fire Circle (Maxed) +19 Teleport (Maxed) In the End 20 Fire Circle (Maxed) 20 Teleport (Maxed) 3rd Mastery Skills Lightning Bolt - Inflict strong damage to an enemy by generating lightning Active Skill Magic Guard - Temporarily replaces damage with MP instead of HP. If MP reaches 0, the HP takes a full hit Active Skill 3rd Mastery Build Explanation : This build is considering that you have purchased the Magic Guard Mastery Book from the Cash Shop for 2,000 NX. Max Magic Guard first as it will be needed greatly in CPQ and most training areas. Lightning Bolt is used for damage but the cast time is not fast enough and over time, you will not find yourself using it as many times before. Build 1 : (Recommended*) +20 Magic Guard (Maxed) +20 Lightning Bolt (Maxed) Explanation : This build considers that you are not right away able to purchase the Magic Gu |

| Pretty good, but there is already a guide that covers pretty much everything about evans, including the skills. But nevertheless, still a good guide. |

| For the 6th mastery I'd get 11 booster, get 1 thrust, max crit magic, max thrust, go back to booster, then put whatever's left on slow. |

| For 6th mastery, I've done: 2 crit/1 booster per lvl until crit was maxed then I got booster to 11. After that, I maxed thrust and finished booster. Rest goes into slow. Nice guide anyways. |
lol, which guide are you talking about if you're talking about the one that's stickied, then it doesn't have builds past level 60 I like this thread cus it actually goes past that lol but anyways, someone told me that has a 8x evan that for 6th mastery +5 booster/crit +5 booster/crit (whatever you didn't max first) *Use mastery book* +5 booster (for speed 3 at level 11) +9 crit +4 booster +20 dragon thrust +15 slow But between there, you can probably put a few points into dragon thrust just for its knockback/animation/(something else) hope this helped EDIT: the guy above me ninja'd me D= |

|
1000cris : Well, http://conserver.wordpress.com/2010/01/01/evan/ This one covers everything though.
That is true but however, it is not part of BasilMarket so not many Basilers would know about that one guide. Thank you for pointing that out though.
BeastLink : You have enough points to master all moves in all Masteries. >_>
This may seem true but even so, some people would not know what to add first and what is recommended. There are some slight differences though. In the 8th Mastery, you are not maxing everything because you can choose between 18 Ghost Lettering and 15 Recovery Aura, or 20 Ghost Lettering and 13 Recovery Aura. |
False, Evans max every skill they get. You aren't taking into account the fact that at the levels for 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th (presumably, I've only seen confirmation for 7-8th), you get 5 SP for the new mastery and 3 for the old (instead of 3 and 3). For 5th mastery, I went shield first because it isn't as if a single target attack is actually useful for training, but saving pots half of the time (40 second cooldown, skill is active for 20 seconds of those) is nice. Of course, this is personal preference: a fun skill or a money saving skill, but neither are training skills. |

I am still editing 2nd builds for some masterys. I'll work on the Shield first build right now. |
I wouldn't do a shield first build. Magic shield is pretty much useless unless you are bossing. 30% dmg reduction on monsters that do less than 300 a hit (refuring to the monsters at mp3) is not even noticable. The reason flare first actually helps is sometimes you have an extra monster you can just use flare on to get rid of (normally a 1-2 hit kill). |
