Thoughts on Gay Marriage.

So, my friends and I were thinking about this, and we wanted your opinion, guys. We were talking about how Nexon likes treating people equally, in terms of race, religion, etc. Apparently, it's Maplestory that brings us together, (minus the stupid people flaming around.) So, we were thinking, how come they don't support gay marriage? Is it because it's illegal in some countries? There are lots of gay people. And, though I may not be lesbian, myself, I have many homosexual friends. What are your thoughts? Please, don't flame about how it's wrong and such... Sincere answers are appreciated. Thanks, -Jess.

No...It would be too controversial for nexon to allow it. They want to appeal to everyone and make money, not risk lawsuits and angry parents for a concept that really doesn't crucially affect them if they don't do anything about it.

There's gay people out there with love a LOT stronger than many male+female couples I've seen. It isn't right for them to not be allowed to get married. In a game however, It doesn't seem like people should be making an enormous deal because it isn't real life.

wether u think it right or wrong it is illegal in most parts of america and since hq is located in the US chances are they abide by us law. plus the fact that it could influence the opinions of children that play the game which brings up another problem. no one wants their child to have a hard time and to face the facts gays have it harder. there just avoiding a potential lawsuit.

You can choose the gender of your character. It's technically possible, just suck it up and stop whining that Nexon won't let people flaunt their homosexuality. What's next? No Christmas events because not everyone's a Christian?
