What's the difference? I heard using a simulator gives the item more "avg" stats, but it also has a chance of blowing up the item. Should I use a simulator on my reverse gear that I am going to make?

Yes, same chance of it blowing up and a 10% scroll landing, yeah, i did it on both my Sword and my Overall

From what I've read, the stim will either make your gear at least avg or above avg in terms of stats. Someone said to think of it as "pre-scrolling." Using a stim there is a 10% chance of your item failing and you losing all the materials you were using for it. That 10% is made lower by your hands stat (luck+int_dex). In other words, the higher your hands stat, the less chance there is for it to fail. Edit: I would only use a stim if either A) you have enough money to where it doesn't matter if it blows up or B) you don't mind going and recollecting/rebuying all those items to try to make another one.

I'd say if you have the stim use it. The chance of your item exploding is very low and the insurance against coming out below average is worth it. *Remembers all his 71 att Peacemakers*
