Magic Flare and Magic Shield

I don't think I'll be able to max both of the skills from level 50-60. Which one's more important? I kinda like Magic Flare but the guide says this about Magic Shield "One of those skills like Hyper Body and Heal... No other class has it, and every class wants it..." So what should I do? Magic Flare or Magic Shield for first priority?

without the quests' sp you can get in 10 lvls 30 sp, so you can put 15 on both of them if you really want (and you will get more sps from the quests so it'll be better).

Also, I just calculated 9th Mastery and it has either exactly enough or 3 more SP than necessary to max everything. Same thing for 8th Mastery. Same thing for 7th Mastery. And, amazingly enough, same thing for 6th. Now next time try calculating it yourself before you assert something. For 20 level masteries, you gain a straight 60 SP from leveling. At the first level (job advancement), you gain FIVE SP, not three, upon leveling (EDIT: 6th mastery still has quests to make up for that extra SP, so you end up with enough anyways). For 20 level masteries, this gives 65 SP (63+2 for 6th mastery), which, amazingly enough, is exactly the amount required for all masteries up to 9th. 9th mastery is 40*3=120 SP from straight leveling, 5 from advancement, so a total of 125. Removing 30*4 for the four skills with Master Levels of thirty leaves you with 5 SP for Hero's will (Mastery level 5). Exactly enough.

but can u use those extra sp on upper levels? cuz 3x i have one extra sp, and maxed both items i mean with the tab system they have, i dont see how u can cuz on my 4x tab says i have 0 sp pts

Masteries 1-4 give you enough points to max both skills, but mastery 5 is two points short. Each mastery after 5 is missing even more. The two point difference isn't enormous; it's really a matter of whether you'd rather lose 2% of Shield's defense or a few points of Flare's attack power. To clarify, the only quests I'm aware of that will add SP in 5th mastery are at level 51 (total 3 sp) and level 57 (total 2 sp). To max both skills would require total 7 sp from quests; the last two points simply aren't there.
