Seriously, this isn't just a BF Police exclusive problem. Apparently, there are idiot script kiddies out there with short tempers. This is my ticket to Nexon, and I hope their new customer service will actually read it and take action. "Dear Nexon, With the advent of your new patches in Maplestory comes new hacks in many forms. I am sure you are aware from previous reports that there is a new disconnecting hack that is currently in effect, which disconnects a player by packet spam. There is no way to block this type of spam unless a 3rd party packet blocker (hack) is used or a superior computer which can withstand such attacks is used. Today, April 8th, on approximately 2:35 AM, I was a victim of such a hack that was used by the player xTeeLacedd. Although the provided screenshot does not display a name because I was lagging too badly to display the chat box, there is proof of the current disconnecting hack. Additionally, blocking whispers will not work because the hack will instead spam the "user has blocked whispers" message, which will disconnect the player faster. If there is any possible way to patch this hack, please do it as soon as possible, for the Maple community will be enjoyable by innocent players again. Otherwise, players. whether by accident or not fall into bad terms with these hackers, will continue to be harassed. The only two existing solutions are to fight fire with fire and use 3rd party programs to block such malicious attacks or to wait for your help on resolving this issue. I recommend that an IP ban be given to such hackers instead of a normal account ban, as those of have their accounts banned will simply create a new account and obtain hacks off of private sites again. With the implementation of an IP ban, I doubt most of the hackers have the intelligence or want to spend the time to circumvent it. Thank you for looking into this ticket." That noob threatened to lock me out of my account. This is getting ridiculous. Nexon needs to realize that account bans aren't cutting it and needs to move faster with legal action against the hacking sites. Or they should start handing out IP bans since the vast majority of hackers out there are not "true" hackers- they are just script kiddies. If Nexon doesn't fix this and if xTeeLacedd does follow up with "locking" my account, I'm purchasing a 3rd party packet blocker.

Some dudes @ FM3 in bera was trying to DC me from door spot for like 30mins, they couldnt. They spoke spanish so I blame spanish ppl for hacking, they gave up and i had to close my shop because their english was so bad. Everyone from Disconnect guild. Desperate huh?

I'm seriously considering on buying a packet editor/blocker. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. Hate to sink to such a low level, but times like these make me want to hack for righteous vengeance, not for malice.

Unfortunately, that screen-shot proves nothing. All you can see is a lot of @ signs. No name. In legal terms, your situation is bias and wouldn't be accounted for. But I agree, this is total bs and d/c hackers need to get the IP Ban Hammer swiftly to the arse. Most hackers are just there to joke around or "super-grind" while they sleep with tubi, vac, and other hacks like that, they aren't true hackers. Most true hackers have an amazing computer and know how to change their IP and even hack into the mainframe. Legal action was taken to game cheetah recently, (Which I used in the past) and that wont slow users down. Many other CE sites are still around. Basically, get a new computer or make one. (I'm adding about 8GB of RAM and memory to my 4GB at the moment and I'm commenting on a laptop)
