The Atheist in this sense was using a circular argument. In his defense though, the question was too simplified to extract that meaning at a glance. Overall, a waste of 8 minutes of my life.

[/quote] His question didn't make sense which is why he couldn't answer it. He's trying to explain to him what atheism is when the caller clearly does not know what atheism is.

I don't believe in God, that's proof that I don't believe in God.

I'm a christian, but I hate it when people do this. Just believe in God and do whatever, stop forcing your views onto others and trying to be "right". Who wins? Nobody. In the end, you just end up looking like a prick and making it worse for your religion.

[/quote] The atheist couldn't answer the question to the Christian's satisfaction because it's impossible. How can you provide proof for something you think that doesn't exist? To the best of their ability, the atheists were trying to provide logical explanations as to why they believe in atheism (despite all the interruptions made by the Christian). And isn't that the exact same thing that people of any religion try to do? They explain, without much concrete "proof" or "evidence" as to why they believe in it. In this situation, the only rational "proof" that the atheists could possibly provide would be counter-evidence supporting why they don't believe God exists. However, the Christian himself did not provide any proof for the duration of that video. And correct me if I'm wrong, I heard somewhere in the video that the Christian claimed atheism was based on pure faith? Is that not exactly the same foundation that Christianity holds?
