I've just recently made a NW and so far I only have 1 set of ilbes and 2 sets of steelys. I have like 80mil at the moment and I'm just wondering how many sets of stars will I need as I level up. Like how many sets would I need for lvl70?

Did you notice 98% of statistics are made up on the spot and false? OT: You won't need to spend all your money on stars if you're an NW. I just bought tons of icies to last me until 50 then vampire/PB trained. You dont' even need attack gear.

You don't need anymore stars. Well, that was me anyway. I just MPQ'ed until 77ish and by then you can start PB training. Pb, pb, pb. No stars needed then :P

No stars needed then :P [/quote] Some people like to do things other than train: Quest HH BF (Yes it is possible on a NW) Area Boss PQ Train elsewhere And oh god.. all these things.. they.. they need STARS So unless you want to camp at CGs for 43 levels (77-120) and not do anything else. You need stars.

Triple throw at 100? Yes? It's the persons choice what he does with his character and not many people like to be confined to one or two maps from 77-120.

No one is saying you're not allowed to, but CKs aren't really specialist at bossing. If you wanna quest and what not and kill area bosses icies are fine. Why spend an extra 200mil dumping ilbis onto a character with no future for 5 more attack?

[/quote] Because (I mentioned steelys, not ilbis) can help you reach a KB, pin and help shave minutes off your boss killing time. It does make quite a bit of difference when you consider that 5 att is multiplied by 6 stars, not exactly since SP is 50% but it's quite valuable for NLs and NWs. If I could remember the formula I'd quote it but every att is far more valuable when using these attacks.

That comment was meant to be broad, not just to you. A lot of people are throwing out ilbis and furies in this thread. And realistically 5 attack isn't going to improve your damage that much for the reasons of: Critical/SP/standard 60% mastery makes your damage very unstable. You aren't going to have a reliable pin anyways unless you hit way over the KB requirement. 5 attack is a couple hundred damage max. Whether or not you think its worth it is up to you, but I still think that it isn't worth it, and that's what I reccomend to other people.

Yes ilbis and above aren't worth it, steelys might be boredline on the expensive side and unfunded icies are your best bet. I have roughly 500m on my nw and still haven't bought anything above steely. I have found an ilbi at wolf spiders though. It's true it's not worth it, and it's very much not worth it if you PB. If you're going to PB, buy icies. If you're not, buy better stars. I did a bit of both PB and training along with bossing because I found poisoning boring. I wanted to get out and attack and train like the other classes even if it wasn't the easy way. This is on my 11x NW, my current NW (9x) (Yes I made two, one low dex one dexless) is going PB all the way.

You need stars. [/quote] Stop your lies. NWs or any other CK cant do big bosses like BF. HH yes and all the other area bosses they can. Howvever, CKs can't zakum, PB, HT, BF, etc. Only exception might be anego bc if you know how to work that boss you wont get hit and you can kb her to the wall. Still think that is iffy though. BF you cant kb and even NLs have a hard time killing one. You must be really skillful and it will take a long time since you can't kb BF. So stop lying bc no way can a NW kill BF and even if it is slightly possible it will take like 3+hrs(exaggeration but point is it will take a very very long time)
