I would just like to clear up a few things. I know the M1887 "glitch" has been patched in the past, but I hear that they are back to their usual state only if akimbo and FMJ are added. Is this true? Also, I would like to hear some current set-ups used by fellow Basilers that can help all sorts of players out. I am currently using: AK-47 Silenced SPAS Semtex/Stun Scavenger Pro/Sleight of Hand Pro Hardline Pro Commando Pro

About the 1887s: No, that also got fixed in a later patch. And currently my favorite is a knifing build: UMP silenced, Magnum w/ Tactical, Semtex/Stun Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, Ninja Pro.

Alright, thanks for the models info. As for your knifing class, I have the same one but I like to switch Ninja Pro out with Commando Pro.

[/quote] Does it really matter what pistol you use with the Knifing build? I use a UMP silenced, but a USP.45 w/ tactical knife instead. Why do people use magnums?

[/quote] Yeah, I usually use one or the other, but depending on the map I tend to prefer Ninja so I don't run so loudly (maps like Quarry, etc with the metal platforms). Also I've been contemplating using Cold Blooded Pro instead of Lightweight Pro just so I never have to worry about UAVs. @ Above, people use magnums cause it's the easiest to use to obtain a tactical knife; the First Recon default class has the Magnum w/ Tactical Knife, and the knife kills with it count towards unlocking its attachments. Otherwise, using any other gun works just as well.

People use magnums because there is a default class that already has magnum w/tactical knife. It's a lot easier to get kills knifing than shooting with a pistol.

UMP Silenced Akimbo Rangers Semtex/Stun Marathon Stopping Power Ninja People say you don't need stopping power with the ump, but I prefer the 2 shot kill in close quarters.

[/quote] Well the pistols only matter if ur guna shoot, cuz the magnum is more powerful than usp's but usp's are more accurate As for my main setup I use Intervention wit FMJ and dual magnums/ semtex/ stunns Persk:sleight of hand pro, stopping power pro, and ninja pro
