so i read this thread on basil about this one mapler who supposedly ruined his/her life by merching alll day, geting about 10b mesos. i know it ruined their life, but...HOW DO YOU MERCH? all i know about it is that you buy low and sell back high. that seems impossible, though...everyone seems to know the prices for everything nowadays. so, how do i do it? i REALLY need help, only have about 120m, the most i EVER had in maple. thnx in advance

120 is a pretty good start. Buy 6-8 attack wg and steelies/ilbis, aswell as clean 1 attack pacs, and resell them in a shop, or just spam(might take longer) Buy them at 30-40% cheaper than normal price Also, try to get some noob trades(30% claw att for 5m, 60% wand matk 800k...)

I'm not a buying and selling type of merch... I'm your basic killing and selling type of merch. I pick up everything that drops and I sell everything that will bring in more than the NPC price. I've been playing for about a year now and I currently have around 750 mil in mesos and I've spent another 2 bil on equipment and mastery books (MW20 x 5, Gen30 x 1).

Buy items for a low price, sell it back for a higher price... there isn't much to it. People make the money through experience, guides don't work unless you actually try it. Most people skip out the 'patience' part and ignore it, but in reality, it's the most important.

If you have a lagless, d/c-less computer, buy a regular shop merchant via cash shop. then, buy as many good scrolls/ wgs/ stuff that are high in demand for as low of a price as possible. then, sell them in the FM with your permit for a higher price

Personally, I'd try buying items that people don't usually know the price of. Out there, there's at least one person desperate to buy it, but you're the only person who has it. With WGs, scrolls, apples, etc etc, there's a lot of competition out there. Also, I wouldn't just do "Buy low, sell high" Selling high would be slower, and lower your profit per day. I did buy 20% lower, and sell 5% over the price. I made about 70m per day with a total amount of 550m to start with. Edit: Once you hit 1b or so, I'd try merchanting with chaos'd items and pricey stuff :O Edit #2: If you ever merch from a person with a store opened, open your store in a different FM LOL

I know just saying "buy low, sell high" seems REALLY unhelpful, but in reality, its just the basic rule. Try it yourself first. Before whenever I asked someone how to merch, they just said "buy low, sell high". This happens so many times that i finally just went to ch 1 FM entrance and traded people who were spamming "S>_____" and tried to haggle/offer a low price. I always do it politely though, i find it's easier that way So...basically...just try it first. It actually works pretty well. I made 6mil on my first day in an hour-ish (which is pretty good for me since I'm bad at merching and not very rich :P)

buy godly stuff that people dont know the prices of. dont buy scrolls like gfa, those are only good profit when ur 100% sure they will inflate
