Hybrid DK questions?

I was going to make a hybrid Dk after seeing all the advantages, but that when I read the equipment part of the guide, I saw that it said I should get the belts, but than it said that you wont be bossing until 100/110+ so you don't need crusher, so I was wondering, if I get dragon roar first like it suggested, than wouldn't it be harder to boss?

I WOULD say max xrusher first since its a good mobber and sniper, and dks can boss at 10x, dont listen to them

The guide said you would use fury to train though, should I just switch to spear automatically at 7x~8x when I get fury to a sustainable amount, and use 2nd job skills at WR or MP3 with a PA?

...What? o.O Use a polearm until whenever you can start 2 hitting skeles, which is usually in your 13x. Your polearm can still be handy because it's good for training at Oblivion4 in time temple. Max Polearm fury first, the rest doesn't matter as long as you end up with what the guide says. Bossing before 4th job is essentially a waste of time. Area bosses are a piece of cake and using polearm fury until you max crusher shouldn't be that big of a deal.

[/quote] o_O ya, pole arm fury you use 2nd job attacks in 2nd job and 3rd job attacks in 3rd and 4th job

o.o? yeah i didnt get a spear until 12x... used PA fury entire time from 7x~12x bossing as 3rd job would mean u are a hb mule... whether u attack or not wont really make a difference

You don't need Crusher to get the belts o.o my DK cruises through the Dojo with no trouble using Polearm Fury.

the whole point of hybrid is to max PA fury first and use it 7x to around 12x......

So crusher isn't bad for bossing, but I was just thinking that I could use ciders, and when I ran out of attack pots, I could use dragon blood instead, should I just spend a little extra money on warrior elixirs?

Just use warrior elixirs. Hybrids aren't supposed to max blood.

Alright, so no blood, don't use spear until 12x+, and bossing doesn't need fury since you're pretty much just a HB mule?

Err.. No. 3rd job bossing in general is pretty bad, but if you do choose to boss for whatever reason your damage will be pretty good among the other jobs, just not the best. Just go read a guide already, learn some more about the job @.@

Why would you max crusher first just for belts. It's going to take you 5 seconds tops to kill any boss anyways (Any boss that's worth the time/point ratio anyways). On top of that belts don't even give you very good stats and dojo is bad exp and repetitive.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that killing a boss that takes longer than 5 seconds to kill was a crime, I thought that maybe it could be a little fun to, I never realized everything had to be super boring and agonizing, after all, there's no way that I'm playing this game to have a little fun
