Seems like the one at fault here is you. You should not force change on your friend when he does not want it. Especially when its over something such as what makes him comfirtable. To say you dont wanna be seen with him even after all these years makes you a terrible friend.

[/quote] School is a place for learning and socializing. Bringing a gameboy to school is like holding up a sign that says dont talk to me. You have to pay some respect to society. @above him and his family do not care about other people. they only think of themselves, thats as specific as I am going to get. The only thing keeping us together is that I feel sorry for him and our childhood.

[/quote] Not really. A good portion of the people in middle and high school suck so I don't blame him for avoiding socialization. He's not completely right in doing what he's doing, but it's not like he's SUPERMISSINGOUT on much.
