What will be Maplestory's downfall?

I personally think that maplestory is going to end because Nexon will keep making the game easier and easier until the game is no longer a rewarding challenge that people will want to play (i.e. EXPlosion, upcoming balance patch, new classes, new, better equips) How do you think Maplestory will cease to be popular?

How does the balance patch make it easier? All it's doing is helping the weak classes catch up to the stronger classes in terms of dmg...

idk, i played back in 07 then quit at start of 08, then returned in september last year, and the game is WAY EASIER, i guess in 2 yrs give or take nexon will take the fun out of it D:

First thing that comes to mind is having too many things that are necessary for a class such as mastery books NX only. Two outcomes could spawn from that. One, people buy more NX. Two, people get tired of having to pay. Or three, Mushmom spawns.

It will end when hackers take over the whole mainframe of the game. When d/c hacks become so popular and easy to get that everyone uses it as a defense mechanism. When hackers take over the community and every patch doesnt even help the situation, just worsens it. Thats when maple will end..

i remember when level 50 was like a level 100 now seeing some one level 70-90 you would have to go DEEP DEEP ludi and 100+ was almost never seen... now people can get to level 120+ in a matter of days...
