Hi, I decided to make an Aran because Bandits were getting a bit boring. I'm going to follow a dexless build, and I need help on what equips to get because I'm not so familiar with the whole accuracy thing. I should have about 500m funding in about 2 weeks or so, only about 120m right now. So, I'm looking for some input on what equips to get and please include prices. Completely clueless when it comes to equips. Server is Bera. Thanks ~

Your title is so misleading >.< Here's what I recommend since you're new to this. Stick to low-Dex and put some of that funding toward a Zhelm, preferably one with 15+ Str and Dex. Get a Blue Crusader Chainmail at 35 and 100% it for Dex. With that armor (14 dex) and the Zhelm (15+ dex), you should only need to have 51 dex at most, depending on what other Dex equips you have. That'll bring your total to 80+, and you'll be able to use a Crimson Arcglaive in the future. If you're having acc problems, either invest in some more acc/dex equips or add more base Dex and look for Str equips. As for weapons, you can use whatever you like, but the recommended weapons are the Steel Polearm at 30, the Maple Scorpio at 43, and the Maple Karstan at 64. That's just my summation though. I'm sure any expert Arans can help loads more.

If you want to go dexless with that funding, you'll have quite a hard time.

If ur going dexless u should have a maple weapon as soon as you can equip it. Edit: Zak helm would be priority 1

How about the overall, shoes, gloves and such? So, the Z helm should be prioritized over the weapon?

as said above in some posts, a 14 dex blue chain mail wich is 100% scrolled should be fine untill later. if you can find some cheap but fairly good weapons you should go for it, and get a scorpio for lvl 43 and a karstan for 64. in earlier lvl a brown dana with acc could do fine untill u get a zhelm. Shoes with acc or dex if u can find, I dont recomend red snow shoes for Arans, as they Eff up combat step rly good. If you have or can afford a attack WG you should get one. And remember you can do the 60% scroll for glove when lvl 36 in NLC.

i agree with swedishbum about the equips, those are a good choice. but if you find youself having a hard time, go low dex and raise your dex to around 50. also buy sniper pots from nlc for your acc if you miss too much. i capped at 60, and with blue crusader 100% scrolled and andras hat, im doing fine at my level. i kinda recommend low over -less, since you get a bit more accuracy

Hard time going DEXless? Speaking from experience and a sticky on Basil (hell, this particular sticky is pretty outdated), it won't be hard at all. Keep in mind a few points: • Find a good Brown Bandana. They'll usually provide more ACC than the Andras Hat. Hell, you may be using the dana for longer simply because of the ACC boost, but try to start using the Andras Hat after getting 19 Mastery. • The Andras Hat will be your main helmet until a Zhelm, which you won't have a problem obtaining. It provides an extra 8 ACC, which equates to 10 DEX if you ever thought about raising it, which you shouldn't. Don't try getting this hat as soon as possible (level 16-18) because you won't be able to hit Andras. • Think about using a bathrobe instead of a chainmail. Not only will the speed boost help with training, it's a common item which you can recycle for other classes in case you ever want to switch. • If you can find some low-level ACC shoes, then by all means, use them. ACC > DEX, so there shouldn't be much reason for you to choose DEX shoes over ACC shoes. In contrast, if you already have common DEX shoes from another character, you can always recycle them on your Aran to save funds. • If you don't care about cost-efficiency, buy some low-level earrings. They're not the best thing you can ever buy with your mesos, but hey, the option is there. • Use a DEX-scrolled Old Raggedy Cape if you must. You want to be able to find a good Icarus Cape (2) because it's better than a PAC in every way. • A 6-10 WG will be fine. No need to be wasting your mesos for a few extra ATT points. • Just use pole arms available to you via NPC, drops, or quests for now. Buy a Maple Scorpio at level 43 or a Guan Yu Polearm at level 48 if you really need the ACC boost, but they're a bit expensive. After level 50 it should be fairly easy to hit things with a Zhelm and such. A Maple Karstan will help with hitting higher-level monsters for faster training. By then I'd hope you would be familiar enough with the Aran class to figure things out.
