Figuring out your percentile for the State Tests

Hello Basil! I wanted to know if you can find out what percentile you are in after you've taken a state test. I tried applying to this school but it said this: Both Reading & Math scores must be at or above the 88th percentile. If the PSSA is utilized, Reading and Math scores must be submitted in the numerical advanced range. Please Note: You must provide the numerical value for your PSSA score. Other accredited Standardized Test are acceptable. How do I find out what percentile I'm in? I get good grades and everything and I got Advanced on my tests (from 7th grade because they look at the 7th graders grades, test scores, etc. and the 8th grade year is when you apply to the High School that you choose) but it says that the Reading/Math scores werent in the percentile. I got like 1800 in Reading and 1498 in Math. Could it be the math score?

Did you get a letter with your scores on it? It usually tells you what your percentile is.

my mom read over the paper and she said that there was nothing about the percentiles

Yeah, it does usually tell you the percentiles. You know you aren't in the 88th percentile and that's just about all that matters at this point in time. It may have something to do with discouraging you from trying in the future. When I had to take the IQ test for gifted they didn't tell me my IQ because they didn't want to "restrict" what I thought I could do if it wasn't as high as I expected. May have something to do with that.

when i took the IAAT in 6th grade, i got the 99th percentile. that means i did better than 99% of the amount of people who took the test. Apparently, you would only be the 100% percentile if you were the ONLY ONE to get a certain score, and EVERYONE ELSE got below. but since theres over 8000 kids taking this at once, its kinda obvious 30+ ppl would get 100%. I did, and so did tones of others. therefore we are in the 99% percentile, with 100% score. therefore, 98% percentile got 99%, 97th percentile got 98, etc
