I don't know how it connects to other things in general, but taking the course for me personally did give me a different view of things, which might help you excel in English or something? :P

Don't go there... its the holdiays and I've got freakin essays to write because of him D: Uh - what else. It's a really good subject for a start, I would've chosen it if I had the choice. Humanities in general (law, history, even economics with marketing and stuff). And English - being able to psychoanalyse helps heaps.

I enjoy Philosophy as well. I did a 6 page essay on famous Philosophers awhile back for my 9th grade final exam paper thing. Got a 95 on it. Best grade of the year. It was supposed to be a 5 minute presentation, but I kind of went overboard and made it close to 10. Teacher told me to speed it up... and I was worried beforehand that it wouldn't be long enough.
