Fame scammed on easter, lol

So after walking through henesys in Kradia with my new Evan, looking to trade fame. After no one even responds to me for 5 mins, finally, someone walks up to me and says "defame me". So I do, and wait. 30 seconds later I say "Could you fame me?" and he says "yeah, one sec". Then he disappears, and I track him to somewhere that I don't know. I whisper him "lol, did you just scam me for defame on easter?". Do people really scam people and lose their integrity, even on big holidays, over what is worth pennies? I mean, imagine if on Christmas Eve asking someone (not homeless) on the street if they have 5 pennies, and you would trade for a nickle. They say sure, and you give them the nickle. Then after looking through their pockets for a second, they just walk away and you're like "ummm, hey, can I have those pennies?" and they don't respond. Not that the nickle really matters, but really?
