Stay at level 39 until next patch?

Since I have no intention on buyying the magic guard book from the cash shop if i level past 40, will i EVER be able to add the points to mg? I wanna keep going because i love my evan but if u cant add points into mg after lvl 40, i will stay at 39 until the next patch =[. Just for clarification... If i save up 15 points and i buy the book at lvl 40 i should be able to add all 15 into mg right? any help is appreciated

Just train w/o it in the mean time, it may be a little tricky but if you can tele corectly and atack you can do pretty well. Thats what i did for a while untill i got a mg book.

You can still add points into magic guard after you job advance.

Well the only reason i would stay at 39 is because i heard once you are in your 4th mastery (level 40+) that you can no longer add points into magic guard, or any other skill below 4th mastery? I might be completely off, but that is what i heard.

Because I didn't have anything else to do I just did the surveys to get the NX for the 2.5k Magic Guard package :P The good news is the 60% that came in the package worked on the Circle Winded Staff that came in the package :D

To the person above me, lol. Why would you buy the 2.5k package, the staff is a waste of nx, it doesn't even worth close to 1 mil, while nx work 10 mil a k. Second, the scroll could been sold for 2 mil in my world without an shop, and you wasted it on that crappy staff. Idk, i just brought my mg book, i think you still can put more points in, but i have no idea.

They've fixed the glitch. I even have a extra sp on that mastery level.

almost everyone here is wrong, for example... im lvl 30 now! i add 3 MG... now... add 3 in tele! OMFG! when u lvl up to 40, u get 3 SP (from lvling) for 3rd job, and 3 SP (from job adv.) for 4rth job

To the topic starter, you need to max it before or at level 39. You can't even use the points from level 40 on it.
