Best damage class in boss runs?

| I know most people are going to say Corsairs, but let's put down a few things first. 1) Heavily funded. Approaching "God of (insert class here)" type funding. 2) Movement needed, if any. 3) Buffed damage from party buffs. So, who crowns the cake? Corsairs still? Or Night Lords? Or someone else? |

|
gtbROX : Corsairs still. DPM-wise they get the biggest boost from an apple and aren't completely reliant on any one buff to survive in a boss run. They also have the better hp of the ranged classes. It has been calculated that even with mounting/dismounting factored in, a sair still wins. Otherwise the next best dpm would be hero on a multitarget boss (zak arms for example); multitarget bosses are pretty rare for that matter.
This man speaks the truth. Corsairs win out on every other class.... Even those NLs. |

| @Anelglic NL's are great bossers And the reason I say Arans are horrible bossers. 1. They have an unctroable rush 2. They need high combos to do high damage but most bosses such as zakum,HT and pink bean has stun or seduce So that breaks that the damage 3. They need high funds to do high damage I did a DPS test with my hero friend 152 and Aran 152 My hero friend did 40k total in brandish he is semi funded the same thing goes to aran but he did 20k-30k and he was semi funded also. But I test my very funded lv 151 Aran he did the same damage as the hero @Angelic Enough with the Sin stereotype Edit: @ Blood But they have a 3 second cool down (Correct me if I'm wrong |

An apple's effect is even wasted on them if they don't have SE. A sair or bm on the other hand does the higher dpm intrinsically, meaning by themselves. Even in a bos run though, given the same buffs an NL gets, the sair will do the best. Whether you have to mount/dismount, the time subtracted is more than made up for by the damage put out. |

Doesn't body pressure stop stun and seduce ruins every class. All classes need high funds to do well and you as an assassin should know that and at least they can rush, just not as good as warriors. |

In situations, Arans have much higher DPM than heroes so there has been an ongoing argument on who is actually better. That may be decided by the player itself, but in a situation given where they have equal funding and with buffs such as Apple, SI, and SE, the Aran theoretically comes out on top with just 1 monster. If it is a mobbing situation such as Zakum arms, the Hero takes the cake. I'm not saying that Arans are better, but they have by far a much better DPM than NL's without any buffs. Even giving a NL an apple won't do as much as an aran with an apple as well. NL's are dependent on SE and apples to pull off such high DPM. |

| im surprised no one has said Bm. but really what it comes down to is the player if a player knows his/her class inside and out and by that i mean fully understand a classes strength and weakness then that class could be a great bosser. for example NL they have great dpm even though they move alot however if a person doesnt know how to control the class what good is all that dps if he/she doesnt hit the boss or even dies. now i know some class are just easier to boss with while others take some understanding. why cant we all just get along and quit fighting about who is better and instead focus on how to defeat Pink Bean. |

| Okay since you said like the god of the class I'll assume HP washed, amazingly godly equips and so on. With that being, either way Corsairs are the best, there is nothing an NL can ever do to out damage them. After that an NL takes it's place for party bossing (However if this is solo bossing then Bowmasters are 2nd strongest) Marksman are at the bottom for ranged classes. For close range classes... Aran are the top in this case, an Aran is capable of zaking without getting stunned at all if HP washed and can stand on the body. I believe Dual Blade would then take second. Heroes and Pally's are even with the updates. Dark Knight then Shadower. Buccaneer's are at the very bottom. However, with the close range classes, Thorns does change things around... A Dark Knight out damages Heroes and Pally's with Thorns applied. |
That doesn't change the fact that the DrK even while zerking only does about half of the attacks a Hero or per say an Aran can do. Now that you brought Thorns into this situation, Arans will gain an even bigger boost because of their Critical Combo. I honestly think the only thing people can say about Arans being bad bossers is that they lose their combo and suck after that. That is not the case and we are very strong without 100 combos as well. It does take a few attacks to get your combo up, but that doesn't mean our damage is tremendously affected. |
